Here at PaintGreen, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and leaving our world a better place for the generations to come. We’ve talked before in this blog about how our San Diego painting company uses Low and No VOC paint, which reduces the amount of toxins that are released into the air when your home is painted.

Quality Work is Always More Environmentally Friendly

A quality paint job done by experienced professionals like those at PaintGreen will almost always last longer than one done by someone who is inexperienced in residential painting. At PaintGreen, we take the extra time to prep your home before we even start painting. We pressure wash the exterior, scrape off any loose or bubbling paint, and scuff and sand the places that need it.

When a home is properly prepped in this manner, the painted surfaces will look great for many years to come. And when you don’t have to repaint as often, you consume fewer resources.

Reducing Our Use of Plastic, Gas, and Other Resources

At PaintGreen, we take every aspect of our business into consideration in determining how we can be more environmentally conscious. All of our employees are trained on how to keep waste and energy usage to a minimum. In our office, we use energy-efficient lighting, power-saving features on office equipment, and recycled paper. On our job sites, we use reusable canvas drop cloths instead of plastic drop cloths whenever possible, and we recycle any leftover paint. We help keep waste to a minimum by using high-quality supplies that last longer and that provide our customers with a higher-quality paint job.

Our employees drive energy-efficient vehicles (such as Smart cars that get about 40 miles per gallon) instead of gas guzzling trucks. This is something you don’t see from many other residential painting companies in San Diego and really shows our commitment to the environment.

Any business can say they’re an environmentally friendly company. It’s much more difficult to actually put energy-saving, waste-reducing, and other green practices into place on a daily basis. But that’s exactly what we do at PaintGreen. We’re committed to doing our best to be good citizens of this planet and doing our part to make it a safer, healthier place to live. We are always looking for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and find products that are both safe and of the highest quality.

If you have any questions about our environmentally friendly policies, or if you would like us to give you a quote on painting your San Diego home, give us a call or contact us through our website. We look forward to hearing from you!
